Our first few days in MA were spent in Cape Cod with Kim, Kallie & Haley. Kim & the girls are friends of ours from Fort Lee. They got out of the Army shortly before we PCS'd & they moved back to Connecticut where they are originally from. They were able to drive up & spend a few days with us and we are SO happy they could! The kids were excited to see each other and although there was some bickering (especially between the little two) it was definitely worth being able to see Kim & catch up over some late night margaritas :o) Unfortunately the weather was not what we had hoped for...it was pretty chilly and it rained a couple of the days we were there. We all had fun despite the weather and can't wait to meet up again next summer! (Hopefully with better weather and older (better behaving) kids...haha!)
Lily & Kallie our first night in the cape
Ready for the beach!
The kids could not wait to get to the beach. It was all they talked about until we finally took them.
The chilly temperatures did not deter them from stripping off their clothes & running for the water as soon as we got there...
...until they realized how cold the water was!
Then they decided maybe looking for shells on the beach was a better idea!

This little one was terrified of the water, the sand, anything that had to do with the beach besides sitting on the beach blanket, eating snacks and terrorizing Haley :o)
...until they realized how cold the water was!Ice Cream at the Sundae School
Checking out the piano that plays all by itself!
This was a huge hit with the kids
On one of our "lovely" rainy days, we took the kids to an indoor play place called 'Bonkers'
They both loved the puppies at the pet store
A brief moment of truce between these two...
Our last day in the cape we took the kids to a salt water taffy shop where we got the watch the taffy being made (sadly, no pictures from this), had a picnic lunch, brought the kids to a park and went to the Chatham Lighthouse.
Dinner before our final good-byes
We had such a great time & miss having Kim, Kallie & Haley in our daily lives sooo much!
