Mimi & Grant took us to a carnival & Lily had such a fun time. She was fearless & went on every ride she could.

When we went to visit Paw Paw, he had a big surprise for Lily ~ He got a new puppy! Lily LOVED playing with Easter & Easter loved having someone to constantly play with her for a couple days.

Daddy's Day

Mimi & Grant had a wonderful patriotic 'Welcome Home' party for Brian while we were visiting. Lily called it "Daddy's Day" (a day all for Daddy instead of being all about her for a change).

Lily was so excited to meet her cousins Kate & Lauren. All day she kept asking if they were almost here & when the caterer rang the doorbell, Lily went running screaming "MY COUSINS ARE HERE!!", thinking it was them ringing the doorbell. Lily had a great time playing with Kate & was very eager to "teach" her about everything. (More like boss her around) :o)

It was a little cold at the beach, but that didn't matter to Lily. Nothing can keep her away from the beach. She played in the mud, collected seashells & helped Daddy fish.

"Rainforest Cafe Forest"

We also went to Lily's favorite resaurant while we were in Galveston...Rainforest Cafe, which for some reason Lily has been calling "Rainforest Cafe Forest". We got to sit in Lily's favorite spot...right next to the elephants!

The Kitty Dance

Lily made up her own dance that she named "the kitty dance". You have to hold your hands like paws in front of you & swing them back & forth. She had everyone on the porch doing the kitty dance...even Murphy!
